Don't feel bad I used to go thru that with my grandfather and it annoyed me when I went to see him. Now that he is gone it wasn't that bad I guess.

I find it amazing, just how tired and tensed up, that one .ca. get driving on these snow covered roads. It's mostly, that swiveling head that gets to me!!!!
-
You know checking your mirrors is over rated.
I hit some snow on the way to TX and it started snowing in Ft Collins last night on my way back. I am sitting in UT since I am out of hours and will have another short day tomorrow as well. Will be back in WA for a Thursday morning drop. Picked up a load of avocados in Laredo on Saturday.
I am so glad our government knows best when I should drive. Instead of having a day at home I get two half days sitting in rest areas.
RizenPhoenix Thanks this. -
JJ doesn't get to far from home and I gotta say he doesn't run hard enough to have to do a reset lol. One of the main things I like about TN lots of Freight and he doesn't have to go far.

Ok spoke to soon he is in GA and they are getting the once in ten years snow storm so the interstate is probably shut down now.

I am a person who don't mind the snow but I am getting tired of it now. It seems that the trips that I get all have to go where the snow is and it is gettingice aggravating to me.
And tonight topped it off. I was on my way home from work in my car and got within 2 miles from my house and of course it is icy I came around a curve a dang deer decided to use my car to commit suicide. Came out from a field and could not do anything because of ice and smacked the deer.jess-juju Thanks this. -
Did you field dress it and take it home?
-
No I didn't but I thought about it but I had to deal with onstar as it went off and the person on the other end wanted to call police fire and rescue and after I told her that I was fine and no one was needed I looked at the deer and decided not to deal with it as it was well tenderized and messed up. But I would have loved the tenderloin though.
-
Should have asked the onstar person for instructions on taking the tenderloin.

Well I am stuck on I-84 since it is shut down in multiple places. So much for going home this afternoon.JimBob24, popcorn169 and jess-juju Thank this. -
They knew ya was coming lol
