Got the truck all cleaned up and got my laundry done... looks like the rest of the day will be Netflix and dominos pizza

 

I "Might" be interested in pulling one... tarps are getting to be a difficult challenge..durn body is wearing out

 

He knew that I wouldn't have done the load if he told me Thursday, he tried to get me to commit to it on Friday, but I said no, it doesn't make any sense to leave home and deliver up in the U.P. on a Friday, unless there is something to load back out of there, which could happen, but I would have rather sat at home than to take the chance. If it wasn't for this particular customer, (easily in our top 5 best paying customers) I would have dumped the load back in their lap.

Many many thanks for the kind wishes and prayers guys, I can't say how much they are appreciated.
I am in Decatur,IL. Loaded at Keen today, a 69,000 lb 770 truck.
Was going to be a tight fit, weight wise, on 6 axles, but we did it. 13,000-39,820-59,000. That will get me through Ia, then I can slide it back an inch or two and split the weight between the steers and drives if I want to.
Took all day, well until 3:30 this afternoon, so I just dropped it and did some shopping.
Tacoma here I come.
