Just watching the GA governor on the weather problems around Atlanta. He just stated that "18 wheelers are the problem". They should have chains to be able to run on GA highways.

Shortly after I got up this morning, my phone rang. It was a driver I spoke with last night and told him, "just park it". He called to thank me and related what a mess it was.
So I turned on the television and listened to the Governor make that observation..."...it's the trucks..."
It's just politics as usual.
Blame someone else. It's not my fault!
With all the camera coverage, it was refreshing to see that there were no Stevens trucks and I only saw two fleet trucks of any kind.
All the rest were independents or locals.
So kudos to all you drivers out there that had the good sense to park it and be safe, rather than be subject to the news media scrutiny.

 

Yes, truckers are always to blame.
