So i start school this coming monday. it will be a 6 week course. I would like to stay in the Northeast regional area, maybe a dedicated route eventually.Right at the moment i am leaning towards Prime Inc. due to the pay and the area of operations. And i have not heard as much bad about them as i have others.. Can anyone with experience with other companies in my area tell how it was. or does anyone know of any other good companies that are in Northeast to work for. Thanks in advance

Maine, eh?
You're gonna be REAL popular at your first company..."You wanna go home? Pick a borough." -
Western kind of hires. Your best bet is a locally based company. Possibly a Canadian company if you get more experience. Starting out try locally based companies.

H O Bouchard ? ....... Don't know anything about them . But I see them when I go up there.

Potties and Hart run Maine from I've read and/or was told. Being from Northern NH myself I've been looking
for opportunities in Maines North West area.... it seems there are a LOT of work going thru Portland ...which may help
you. Skowhegan is not far out of that I95 lane. -
What school are you going with? Although it will depend on the school, if you do well, they might be able to immediately place you with a carrier. This website has a TON of good information on it, so I hope you'll spend some time reading the various threads. BTW, there are a lot of companies that haul both water (Poland Spring) and paper (Sappi) out of Maine.

Definitely look at. Indeed.com
Craigslist is littered with 3rd party recruiters but you may find some company
ads there for local work and with the right school certificate they might waive some of their required experience -
the school im going though is skowhegan driving school. but as far as placement i dont know if they do thatChinatown Thanks this.
