I have been thinking about all the regs and how they are enforced kind of like basic training you know you will do because you will doit. Then when you drive down the highways you see all these suvs blacked out and militarized. Using technology to read the numbers on your truck. Then you get to the consignee or shipper and they say we will be will you in a minute and come back in three hours. Oh yeah the background check for hazmat and ports. The dot physical and employment verification, drug test and all. The perfect solution to all this is that the military should supply the drivers. You go through basic training then on to school to drive. They could be taught to drive 52 mph and follow every rule. They would be on salary so waiting would be fine. They would all line up in the right lane and drive the same speed so the 4 wheelers could do what they wanted. If they were late they would awol so no messing around on the way. They could complete mechanics training to advance in rant and fix their own tires and minor repairs. Carry their weapons no hijackings. It would work pretty good.

My personal believe is that everyone should spend some time in the military. I think we would have gotten out of Afghanistan years ago if we had a draft army with shared experience through out our country. It seems that only folks with sons and daughters in harms way pay any attention to it.

Someday when I trust my government and believe in the things they do around the world I'll think the same thing. The problem is I'll never trust our government and they'll never stop doing bad things around the world.

While speeding to within 10 feet of the bumper of a car in the fast lane and slamming on their brakes and tail gating them until they change lanes.... repeat.... repeat.... repeat...

Some of us get paid to problem solve. Yes, we drive, had CDLs and do like you guys do...but our job is problem solving. The roads, the weather, the traffic, the miles, the load.

Had a driver pick up a load in Wisconsin going to Las Vegas got shut down in the Rockies on 70. He called me up asking about his options in that area.

Six: I don't know, I don't normally go that way.

Driver: Which way do you normally go?

Six: Across 80 and down 15. There's some pulls, but nothing like the Rockies and that big canyon to the west of Grand Junction.

Driver: But my GPS routed me down 80 to 76 to 70 to 15.

Six: Can't blame the GPS, driver.

There is one possible solution for the cell phone problem in this country. Bring back the public pay phone, This way an individual will not feel compelled to have or use a cell phone, especially when driving.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
