We delivered in Laredo and had an immediate pickup heading back to Chattanooga. We got loaded and put the hammer down to get home. Love not having a governed truck. We usually drive 59 mph but having the ability to drive 75 is kinda nice. SItting in my living room and just watched my Seahawks beat the Saints. Oh, if anybody asks.........We Dat! lol

So we are heading to Seattle to watch the Super Bowl with friends and family. I-80 in Wyoming is shut down 25 miles East of Evanston. We ALMOST made it through. No telling how long we will be here but I suspect all night as it is snowing hard. We have a full day extra in the schedule so should be fine.

That's one of the reasons we run 70 (west bound) out of Denver instead of 80 in the winter... Hit a touch of snow last night, but no chains and no cross wind! Not sure if that route would work for your destination, but for us it's been working.

Eisonhower is treacherous when snowing, but catch it when it's not storming ur in the clear. 80 in the winter is always a highway thru Hell(80 thru WY)

We got stopped for six hours 35 miles East of Evanston. Really no big deal. Freeway open at 4:40AM. Rest of the way was clear, even Deadman Pass (Cabbage Patch) in Oregon, We normally go through Montana to Seattle but ALL of Montana was getting hit.

I gotta say, rates are pretty awesome right now. Kinda nice when we have three brokers fighting for my truck.

Flawlessly, we ended up buying a used engine which saved us $10,000. Getting 7.9 mpg which is 1.6 mpg better than we got with the old engine. Glad we saved the old girl, we freaking love this truck.
