    Don't bother moving. Things are so jacked up on 285. Maybe this afternoon around 2-3pm you might be able to squeeze through but I can't say for sure. The idiots running this state obviously don't know how to get out early and prepare for this. They wait until after the fact then it is too late.

    I am still sitting at the house. Morrow terminal has canceled it's loads for today which is fine with me.

    Ga 511 and Sirius radio is still reporting that 85N is shut down just before 285 so there is no sense leaving before that clears up. You can tell who has to run in this stuff and who has permission to shut down. About 1/3 of the trucks here at Loves are chemical tankers.

    I was just looking at the cameras on Georgia 511. The roads still look pretty glazed over to me. Traffic on the top side of 285 west bound is still all jammed up. It would be a waste of time trying to go to Marietta to get my load. Glad they canceled it for the day.

    Glad I am heading west. Going to try California again. If you remember last time I went to California my truck died. What a fun trip. Markham gave me a choice. Greensboro or Victorville Ca. I fig lets try California. Test this truck out. So far she is great. Just trying to fig best way to go from Joliet, il either 80 to 76 to 70 to 15 or 55 to 44 to 40 to 15. Difference of 100 miles but 2nd way I can avoid Colorado and their fun mountains.

    If the EGR cooler needs replaced plan on getting a loaner. What a nightmare replacing it. Go to rip out the truck interior to get to the darn thing. A log PITA job.

    Not really sure what you are asking. You will need a CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements. Superior only hires from specific schools and then only a couple of rookies at a time that they hand pick. Your best bet is to call the terminal nearest you and talk to the terminal manager.

    Yeah it took about a week to get mine done. Only ran one out and back in a loaner truck.

    Well, so much for a fun superbowl weekend for me. Dispatch just gave me a load to Port Arthur TX that delivers first thing Monday morning. Anybody been to the Sulfer terminal? I was thinking about shutting down there on Sunday to watch the game. Just wondering if they have a decent drivers lounge. If not, I'll just look for a truckstop to hang out and watch the game.

    Its nothing to write home about. They do have showers and satellite TV but it was an old style tube TV last time I was there. Lots of Casinos nearby as well which could be a good option for the game.
