Overnight at the Roehl yard in St. Paul MN, pick up in Shakopee in the AM then over to Marshfield in the afternoon to relay it off. Also picking up a new driver on the way (he just finished with his trainer in Phoenix and flew from there to MSP) and giving him a lift to Marshfield.

At cons in IA. I-35 was a pretty good mess today in southern MN and northern IA. Saw tons of cars and trucks off the road. It was really slick. Even loaded I was breaking traction going up hills, and bad under bridges in the shade too. One crash right on the border northbound they shut down the interstate.

Cancelled preplan to Menomonie, sent me to Columbus instead. Sitting in cons lot tonight with 0700 appt. 10 miles from home but can't get in a 10 hr break and be here in 8. Planned from Middletown OH to Pacific MO tomorrow. Best week so far for detention at 12 hrs. On a related note, also the worst week for miles in a year.

At exit 362 on I15 6 miles from shipper. Headed to a little town above Vancouver Washington. No deep freze yet. Should get layover and reset. Then maybe to Wisconsin with some wood.

I gave up on shoveling. Why bother, everyone else in the house just drives over it and besides, I have a Jeep, what do I care. Eventually the others won't be able to get in or out, but the Jeep will.

Ok, you live in, or around Green Bay, and you don't have a snowblower, or plow? This ain't 1950 dude. At least hire a guy for $20 to plow the driveway.
