You have to decide what you REALLY need and don't take anything you don't actually have to have. I have my my basic load and my extra stuff for winter(which finally comes out in April, thank God), Carrying around a bunch of extra crap makes for a messy truck. I'm out 3-4 weeks at a time and junk just collects and breeds more junk. Those four years as a light infantry type comes in handy at times.:biggrin_25523:

I think we all collect a lot of baggage in the truck. We see some thing that we remember we needed one time before and think we might need again and in the truck it goes for that "one time". Since we are on the road and don't have easy access to a lot of things while traveling it tends to go along "just in case".

I thought my wife was going to have a stroke when she picked me up in Denver when I left Knight. I have a full size pickup with a shell, and she just couldn't believe how much of that was taken up with the stuff out of my big truck. . .

I must be a collector of "stuff" because even driving a city truck I seem to accumulate an awful lot of "stuff" that has to be moved if I drive a different truck. I guess I'm just not cut out to be a "minimulest" (sp???):biggrin_25523:

So you guys are saying I should leave the steam iron, foot massager, towel warmer, and manicure set at home? Dang.

Seriously I can imagine what it's like. For those who don't know I ain't driving quite yet, school starts in about a week for me. But I know I am a Boy Scout pack rat type (Be prepared for anything/don't throw away anything.)

Oh this could be bad if I get in a company that slip seats alot. :biggrin_25524:
