Roehl Driver Check In Continued

Moved into new digs today. Currently sitting on a folding chair, and going to sleep on an air mattress tonight. Ordered some furniture, to be delivered next weekend when I'm home. Holy crapnuts stuff is not cheap, oh well it is what it is. Even simple stuff like cleaning supplies etc... Adds up.

 

Guess since this is my first winter, God wants to make sure I get a full test, right out the gate
I honestly cannot remember a winter harder than this one. Just got done shoveling out the drive from 2 weeks of snow fall and plow jockeys. Oh boy I hurt now. 4 hours and lots of pain later it's done.

I stayed at the County Inn and Suites in Wytheville once.

Nope, that's when I was coming back from Hilton Head Island, SC with the family while "working"

 

its bad there...not looking forward to going back lol.

 

Mom & Pop truck stop near Tickfaw LA on I-55. The Petro in Hammond LA a bit south of here was packed, as I thought it might be with the Super Bowl happening. Drove through torrential rain around Jackson MS and south of there...washed all the salt off the truck and trailer. 70 F here now, crickets are chirping in the woods next to the truck stop. Feels rather surreal.
