Had a blast last night at the TA in Morris, IL. Was on my 34 and came in neutral since my team is KC. A lot of love for Seattle and a few loud mouthed Denver fans before the game were more quiet as the game progressed.
I had fun. The atmosphere made it.

I say watch and enjoy, if it interests you. Just please, don't worship these athletes. These guys, in most cases, are one trick ponies with massive egos.
Ironically, as a guy who isn't starstruck, I've worked with countless famous athletes, and a few actors. I've found that an average guy off the street is more impressive, in most cases. Kurt Warner is one notable exception - he came across to me as an impressive individual with depth.
Superbowl of what? If it's chili, I'm all over it. Tailgating is the best part of football for me. -

Unless the Cowboys are playing, just another Sunday for me. Didn't watch the game yesterday, don't have cable and got some nice freezing weather that made me stay instead of traveling 1 mile to the BK to watch it lol.

And YOU clicked on it. So; to answer your question of "Who cares".....I would say, YOU.
As for me; had I been on the road, I would just watch in the truck, FOX is usually a pretty easy station to get in most places. And if I couldn't get the game in the truck, I would watch something else or read my Kindle....because I don't sit in Drivers Lounges.DriveItUSA Thanks this. -
I've also given him the gears about his Dancing With The Stars stint, which I sense he wishes he had never done. Kurt is the only guy I would want spend time with socially. He is the only one that didn't think everybody should worship the ground he stepped on.
NBA players are the worst - BY FAR. The guys I've had dealings with believe the NFL, NHL etc are for the lower class. Of course I'm generalizing based on my experiences. I'm sure there are really good folks in all sports. You know what's interesting? The bigger the ego on the guy, the more of a witch his wife is. -
I managed to watch the second half at a TA in eastern Arizona, after watching a few highlights on the internet in the sleeper berth. As a life long die hard Seahawks fan I was thrilled, but I thought the blowout was baffling. I thought it would be a nail biter at best for us, but those underpaid walk ons and late round draft picks sure did come to play on defense.
Speaking of athletes I have a tremendous amount of respect for, I'm very impressed with Russell Wilson. He's very intelligent and humble, not to mention underpaid and without a single complaint about it. As close to an egoless player thats come along in a long time.
