Parked Here for the Night

Heading to the Pilot in Stanton, TN. After just a little over a year of OTR I'm making my last trip for the company and moving to a local diesel delivery company. I gave my two weeks notice and I'll be turning in my truck at the yard by Friday. A little sad to be making my final trip but excited for a new opportunity. It's been a blast out here for the most part and I'll definitely miss the open road.

 

Made it to the Point. Unload in a few hours. Then pick up a load in Newark going to Columbus and Indianapolis. Wow they really surprised me how they had the roads cleaned up after all the snow. Sucks I won't be able to get my Chinese food. Guess I'll hit up the deli shop. You can't come to NYC and not enjoy the fine cuisine. We back quiet.

 

I think I passed you two. Your wife was at the wheel. You got off at the 275.

Shoot we all could have had breakfast in Jeffersonville.

 

I'm still in Jersey. Oh yah Pack Rat I did see the Bank in Hunts Point. Wow all these years and I never knew it was there. Also that deli had a killer breakfast burrito. I gota say the best I ever had. Can't wait to come back. Wanted to get another one before I left, but I knew I would try to eat it, and I'm still full from the first one. Was hoping I would run into a Jersey taco truck but this is the only warehouse on the block so doubt they come this way. 1400 apt. I hope they get me out of here earlier. I don't want to play in Jersey traffic.

 

Denver got slaughtered.Half time show was excellent though.

 

Yeah I heard there was some sort of football game during that Bruno Mars concert.

 

I was parallel to your truck and realized it was a us xpress pulling that CEVA trailer and thought I wonder if it was you two and I recognised her. She was having fun with the slow trucks going up that hill lol.

 

Change of plan. I'm relaying with another driver whose truck is having issues. Load goes to Franklin, OH. Meeting up at the Love's in Dickson, TN. My turn to help a fellow driver out like I was helped twice with this truck. No biggie, I didn't have any pressing reason to get home this week anyway.
