How much is the pet deposit and do they want it paid upfront before starting, or will they take it out of your checks?

I think so. I just don't know how many lies the recruiter told me. I was told .37 ml and avg 2500ml week. I don't mind staying out but over here I be out 40+ days that's a lil too much for me. I stay in Atlanta and never see anything below OKC.

I also don't want to spend another month on a truck with a trainer.

I'm home every 3-4 weeks. No major issues yet.

You shouldn't have to spend a month with a trainer if you have previous driving experience. I had the minimum (90 days OTR) and went through the 4 days of orientation. They turned me loose to terrorize both the roads and loads. Can say that I wished I had gone with a trainer a couple of times, but have been able to work through it. Other drivers will help you if you ask, you have a securement guide and you can always call safety. I had to use them today since I had never done slinkies and it was 6 months ago that I had orientation.

Everything Melton told me during the recruiting process has been right on the mark. Just be aware that the 2500 miles per week may be an average for the year. Last week was 3200, but I have also seen a couple of 1800 due to freight and my "newness" to securement and tarping.
