I recently went from a standard air gauge to a Right Weigh. Both will work but the Right Weigh is nice.
281ric Thanks this. -
are they accurate?
-
I got the right weigh also. I feel it's accurate with couple hundred pounds. Got the digital guage inside the truck for the drive axles and feel it's more accurate. Probably within a 100 pds

Cool Thx. Plan on getting that out the way this week.
Question for you. what is the smallest big sleeper one can buy? Like yours but not as big? -
For small sleeper size, look at the next H.O.Wolding truck you see. Most have just a bunk for a sleeper. They give you the option of seatbelting the fridge into the passenger seat or having the seat removed & stored the home base.

I have a Teltek in the cab and it seems to be accurate within a couple hundred pounds as stated above. Always on the money. I've had it for over ten years and would never trade it for any other. On the trailer I have a right weigh and I guess it's ok. You always have an idea of what's on your trailer but whenever I check the right weigh, it's always saying something way different from what I believe it should be.

Ict sleepers start at 96" which is just over factory KW studio 86" sleeper.
Just remember " Bigger is always better"281ric Thanks this. -
Nah. I meant a sleeper like Flightline has but not as big. A smaller version with all the comforts his has.

a cheaper and just as accurate way to weigh your truck and trailer is to simply plumb a schrader valve into each air bag system. read it with a very nice tire pressure gauge. weigh the truck at a cat scale, weigh with your tire gauge.record the pressures. you will be able to come up with "the magic number" . example, 1 lbs. of air on your air bag = xxx lbs. of weight. After a couple of times you will be able to weigh your truck with just this method.. very cheap, very accurate and reliable. hope this helps. johnny
