I had a Stevens contractor blow past me today on I90 and then came back over no more than 15ft from my bumper. My TomTom showed 65mph, he was over 70mph. A new black KW, first 2 digits of truck number 22xx. If someone in corp wants to look up who was in Sioux Falls, east bound at 15:45CST, kick him up the ### for me. I'm sure Pilot, TA and Petro appreciate him stopping so often to fill up. He will be on here in a few months saying "You can't make money on Alliance!"

I believe that was an owner-op.

Yes he would. The truck would still say "Contractor Division", but it wouldn't have the Alliance decal.

    Dryver Thanks this.

the only way to tell an owner op from the rest at stevens is the truck number... 22xx is an owner op.

No it's a bottom feeder government trough kinda problem. Once you finally get with a professional company a lot of these problems go away.

Sounds like people unhappy with life are trolling the boards looking for reasons to complain

Not me...headed to Stevens in May. I'm thankful for this thread and its predecessor and the honesty of its posters who will talk of their successes and failures. It has helped to prepare me for what I face ahead, to know much of what to expect. I enter STevens knowing it is a training company because that is exactly what I need. I know I will be gone from family for several months because I will be a trainee. I know it will be difficult, but my whole life has been difficult. So, I'm thankful for a new opportunity in a new field ready to learn a new occupation with eyes wide open.
