But you know what I find really funny? I think it's hilarious that after working for JBS for over 3 years, you still think they are a good company. Most experienced drivers I know working there (and by most, I mean all), know exactly how bad of a company they are and I couldn't find one person to say anything positive about them, excluding you and one other person. So take your bs OPINION about someone else's FIRST HAND experience somewhere else.
lol, crying, that's funny. Oh, and FYI, this is the second time in a year they have done a mass driver layoff, first with the SE reg and now this. Kind of shows a pattern to me.

The funny thing is you say they are going to all regional, but the first so called mass lay off was the SE region. Dude get real. This is a trucking company ran by people. Nothing is perfect. Its a gig. Do your job and go home. Such a bad company and you are crying because you got canned. Not even a lot of drivers on here from JBS so really all your work is really useless. Find another gig and stop acting like a little girl spreading gossip. Man up;)

i worked for a JBS for a year it wasnt to bad for a starter company. I knew going into it that i would be treated like a second class employee but i kept my mouth shut and didnt complain once i had my year in i left for a better oppurtunities. out of all the starter companies out there im sure they are the best. Im still surprised that expirenced drivers stay at companies like swift,werner,england,JBS,...ect...ect....

I am just saying what JBS told me. First by HR, then by Becky, then by my last dispatcher, then by a recruiter. I have no idea why you think I'm just making this up, I was told this directly by four different people including management not to mention, it is in my seperation papers they asked me to sign. I'm sure being a driver here, you know exactly what the company is doing and why, I guess you just missed this meeting.
anyways, I have an update, after speaking to a friend I have in the Greeley office, they are still not done with the layoffs.
Like I have already told you Dino, being laid off from JBS was a good thing, it's a bad company with bad management and they paid me to leave. So, continue with the name calling and trying to pass off your opinion as fact, it's ok with me. The truth is, the vast majority of JBS drivers know how bad a company they are and know they already have a history of doing this.

Well sir I guess I made the cut for now. I don't know how lucky I will be next time. I've heard of a lot of bad companies, but bad companies who pay drivers to leave. I guess that's a first for me. Enjoy your next gig. I'll continue to enjoy mine. Please forgive and except my humble apology if I called you out of your name sir. You have a blessed day now ya hear.

I thought in a post from last year, you said you were in Arizona. Living in OK, are you 150 miles from a plant? Also, what is your age? In the desperation papers, they gave a list by age of people being laid off. The reason, to show no discrimination. So far, the drivers I either know about first hand or have been told about, are all at the top of the pay scale. So let's see if it's possible if you are one. Of course, it's not for sure, but I can see if your a match for any of the people on the list.

Lol, looking at the list again, did not notice they have a name for it. They are calling this the "Emloyee Termination Program"

Had worked for JBS CARRIERS since 11/03/12, today I was one of the recent drivers which they let go. Was told that it had nothing to do with my job performance, it was due to my home location, and the lack of freight they have in the area. The past several times that I'd put in for home time, they had a hard time getting me home, due to no freight going that way. My overall view of the company is good, they have great equipment, decent loads with miles as long as you're not trying to get to the south east. I had 2 good Driver Managers, Katie, and Christina. The company took care of shipping my personal belongings back home, which was packed up in 3 large boxes. They set me up in a hotel for one night, then flew me home the next day. You drivers need to remember that this is a business, and sometimes businesses have to cut jobs, don't take it personally. If you're a good driver, it's not that hard to find another driving job.

Do you have the option of moving out of Campobello South Carolina and into another area that is within the hiring area of JBS Carriers? Perhaps you could talk to JBS Carriers and they may possibly rehire you, providing that you make the move into one of their hiring areas. It is worth a try.

Judging from your post, it looks and sounds as though JBS Carriers is the company for you to go back to and eventually retire out of when such time comes. You seem to both like the company and miss working for them.

Good luck to you and your family!
