Anyone work for them? Do they keep you busy? I see they are advertising like 72% of revenue plus 100% of fuel, detention...etc to the Truck.

I thought Old Dominion was LTL.
How would they figure percentage on LTL into line haul? -
They have a can hauling gig using O/O's. There's one at the terminal in Des Plaines, IL.

Here is there O/O brochure

I see owner operators pulling 53 ft dry vans (Old Dominion) around in some places. Same for SAIA, owner ops pulling dry vans for them OTR.
-
It's probably the truckload division. All ltl companies do it. Even the union ones. Not enough money in the truckload division to pay company drivers so they hire O/O so they can work the numbers and make them think they are doing something.
-
I never worked for Old Dominion, but I talked to one of their drivers in North Carolina who liked them. They have been around a long time.

-
