being that you live in OH where TMC has great freght, I'm gonna guess you either sleep at truck stops every night or dont manage your time well. I slept at consignee when ever I could and left sunday night. I rairly had to wait untill sat to get home and if i did i got home first thing in the morning.

The issues I normally had was with the shipper delaying and pushing my 14 hour clock. Most Saturdays I got home either in the morning or in the afternoon, depending on the situation, working anytime Saturday is still working Saturday for me. Just because their is a lot of freight that goes through Ohio, doesn't mean I get to see home any earlier or easier then anybody else. I think I only ever picked up or delivered a load in Ohio once while with TMC.
I only stayed at TMC for 2-3 months though, found a better job that pays more and still gets me home every weekend. Don't think they were happy how I quit, but I don't plan on working for them again anyway. -

It takes a couple weeks to get a routine going. Now the FM and driver relationship, not sure since I hardly talked to mine since he ran me fairly decent most weeks.
I'm not saying I didn't make money and I'm not really saying I was completely unhappy, but I moved on to better myself. -
Any drivers want to tell what kind of money one can expect for a first year driver?

My stuff is still all balled up trying to get in. Never ran into an issue with getting another job before. They couldn't find some tax stuff.

Although I've read some bad, I do hear great things about there training. From what I'm reading, I would say a lot has to do with your trainer.

It took me about 6-12 months to get my routine perfected. My first year I was crap. Second year made about $10k more. Switched to specialized and started killing it. If you run well, they'll love you. If you suck, you'll get weeded out, much like it seems the guy in this thread had happen. I'm not trying to be mean, or call anyone out, but even in the slow months, you can make a ton of money. Flatbedding ain't easy, but it's a fun ride.
