is cdl training school deductible?

    Can i deduct the cost of my wifes CDL school on our taxes this year?

    you should be able to, its for education and getting a better job, im going to claim my school on taxes this year, from what I heard you can on the first year, also save any receipts for gas or food while In school and on the road you can deduct them also.

    as well as any needed clothing or anything the school or job requires that you are not reimbursed for. count mileage back and forth to school as well.
