My high idle took a dump on me today....I can bump up the idle to 800 rpms with the Cruise select and the Cruise-control in the off position...But with the Cruise on the cruise select does nothing....
Anyone have any ideas?

Just a thought, lift your clutch pedal. Sometimes they stick 1/2 inch down but that usually knocks the cruise completly out, not partial.

Press the clutch and/or brake pedal to reset the cruise. That might work.

I'm just concerned about the oil pressure...Is 5 psi going to make a difference? -
Yes. Engine protect is probably on. Check the oil.
