Heard US Xpress has a UPS dedicated account that pays teams .58 CPM. Anyone know more about this account ?
-
We were at the Olive Branch, MS terminal the other day & they started getting 2015 Cascadia 10 speed trucks. Nothing different about them other than the truck has the convex mirrors on both sides of the hood. 2014 trucks had them only on the right.
-
Would love to get one of those. Our international had a radiator leak.. Turns out it was leaking some where in the engine, screwing with the regen. They had the whole truck torn apart. Front tires off, passenger sets out, dash out, hood up, ferrings off.... Looks like it got blown up. Lol Luckily we were doing home time and put it in a shop (not USX shop) hopefully it will be done tomorrow morning... We were suppose to come off home time this morning. It's nice to have the extra day... But we lose miles...
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
I heard all the ones in Tunnel Hill were autos. I was already told mine would be an auto. Hope not.

You would think Volvo would try to make things right with USX after the disastrous trucks of the late 2000s. -
How's everyone's February been ?
We had an awesome January but this month has been so blah. We've gone to pick up loads but only to find out that Ceva gave it to another driver. Things must be slow because we've done a lot more Customer to Customer runs for Ceva. Went to Ceva in Boston, MA which was really cool. The place is on the harbor so we called a cab & had dinner at a seafood restaurant. Ceva Memphis is a few miles from the Olive Branch terminal so I got a chance to update my permit book & pick up the 2014 IFTA stickers.
Really digging doing Ceva dedicated. Our favorite part is that we can drop the empty at their locations then bobtail to wherever we need to go. Easier to find parking at a truck stop, never run out of groceries, go on mini dates while waiting for a load, etc.
Looking forward to doing this job in the summer -
January was pretty good for us too. We love Boston. Did you walk to the restaurant? Right along the strip right? We had an amazing lunch there. Can't remember the name. That Harbor is amazing! If we go east, we like that place. And swedesboro NJ.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
The place we ate in Boston was called Legal Seafood. Best jumbo shrimp we ever had. We took a cab to this place.
Swedesboro, NJ is another place we like because the staff is easy going there. Wife loves it cause of the Dunkin Donuts.
Lawrence, NY - It's growing on us
North Arlington, NJ - What a pain ! H&M Clothing warehouse with a street that only one truck can go at a time. Our truck had a showdown with a truck coming from the opposite direction....we decided to back up so they could go. The US Xpress truck that came the day before hit one of H&MS trucks. They were pissed. May we never go back here. Total waste of our time.
Lewisberry, PA - A huge place. Surprised we don't go here more often.
Memphis, TN - Ceva location 4 miles from Olive Branch, MS terminal. Very easy to deal with.
Romulus, MI - Easy. Right off the interstate.
San Antonio, TX - Very small place. They share it with another company.
East Point, GA - Wife loves it because of the shopping center nearby.
STap, what are your thoughts on these places ? I left out a few others. Too lazy to type. -
I met a husband & wife team this morning at Ceva Dallas. Their load got cancelled so they were waiting on a new load. Come to find out from dispatch they got tired of waiting around and quit the company.
STap, they had a 2014 Cascadia. It's probably getting cleaned out at the US Xpress terminal in Dallas, TX. Calling your name.STap Thanks this.
