Also the parking ban nationwide actually sounds like some made up stuff. I don't see them doing it Bentonville area, where the walmarts have actual spots for trucks.

Not true at all. Must depend on the store. I see trucks in the lots at night all the time.

Osseo, WI travel plaza. Unload in Bloomington, MN in the morn, then PP back to Illinois. Shattered my old record for miles in one week. I think the wheels are coming off my truck..

Yeah, I hear what you guys are saying (about Walmarts allowing parking) and it's possible that manager was just being more strict than many/most. He did say that it was companywide policy now. Evidently they were serious enough at that particular Walmart (3450 Farm Road 1960 W, Houston) that they'd hired a security guard to patrol the lot. It wasn't more than 5 minutes from when I parked that they drove up to the truck. Since then, I'd looked whenever I passed a Walmart and wasn't seeing trucks in any of them.
Perhaps they did change the policy and not all the stores are enforcing it. I'll definitely be calling ahead before the next time I park in one. That whole episode spooked me pretty good -- the security guard holding up her cellphone and announcing she was calling the towing company, was a very effective way of focusing my mind.wyldhorses Thanks this. -
I spoke to a store manager and was told it is a company wide thing but really up to each manager to enforce. I try to avoid the place but sometimes no choice.

Louisville. Because my trailer is junk and I can't keep my marker lights on. and I'm missing a mudflap. But I saw some awesome Roehl guys in Russellville this morning, though!
Bayle and Projektf350 Thank this. -
so hows the idling working for you?
turns out this loaner is just like my regular truck, can get an hour or so if I release the tractor brakes.....otherwise no more than 10 min.
I was concerned the other night in -9 weather but I just shut it down when I turned in and fired up the bunk heater.
my concern for roehls expenses has been negatively influenced by the last week of debacle with ice in the air system. after my tow the other day (#2) the tech asked what was up as they only had "thaw it out" or some such nonsense. I relayed the horror show and he said "guess ill take a peek at the dryer filter"
yea....looked original caked with baked on oil residue, no doubt the dessicant was long dead.
its gotta be less than $50, but whats two tows plus a couple three other shop visits ....who cares
