i've had white coat syndrome, and sleep apnea, but honestly... ever since I dormed at a trucking school and teamed with a co-driver for PAM, all that #### became obsolete. The most important thing is delivering that load. If you can do that, then trucking companies can give a #### whether or not if you got a sleeping condition or white coat syndrome. I can assure you.

They owe me 500 towards my "school tuition pay." I think I'll see a unicorn before they pay that. Anyways yes I'm on medication now to as I have had enough and just need to get it over with. Not returning to Werner. They basically got what they wanted from the government as they polished my training and delighted me out after that with no miles.

Well this same person I was talking about has now been with Werner for 2 years gets a brand new Freightliner right off the lot each year and now makes $0.35 CPM loaded or mt. IMO I believe they have lots of drivers been there longer than that, who don't even come close to making that much per mile.

Now c'mon you guys, let's be honest. It isn't Werner's fault if you had High Blood Pressure during a physical. Most companies take the results from the doctor's tests and go from there. It's entirely up to them if they hire or fire you, but they can't legally let you drive their trucks unless you have a valid health card. That isn't Werner's responsibility. They can pay for it, but why would they keep paying for a doctor's visit if the same results keep coming back?

Whether or not you're stressed out at the doctor, and your blood pressure is just spiking for the moment, Werner can't prove that is true. So, in that case, people with this problem should go to their family doctor, and if they don't have one, find a doctor where you live and commit to seeing him for follow-ups. They will work with you, and there are doctors out there that are willing to either provide a portable HBR/BP reader or allow you to provide your own and monitor it. Chances are they'll take your word for it eventually if they trust you're being honest.

The blood pressure rave has been fueled by a storm of experts claiming it is a sign of an underlying health condition, but post importantly they believe it is the cause of it/them. So technically, they know if there isn't any other physical signs of illness, then they can't be positive you're at risk. I promise you a good doctor that has seen you more than once, or has done blood tests and what not, that they'll write you up a health card. They may not put over two years on the expiration date, but I'm not sure that they are allowed to anyway.

I find it interesting that a doctor would take you blood pressure 8 times in a row. As any doctor knows the more times someones blood pressure is taken, it will go up higher and higher. Two times is all a doctor will take it. If he is in doubt he will take a third, with an old fashioned floor model which is the most accurate technique you can use. I was believing this until you said the doctor took your blood pressure 8 times in a row.
