I call my Mum in Australia at least a few times a week and always tell her and Dad I love them.

I don't tell my driver to much or he might revolt on me and not wanna do the load

 

Any broker, that has AC/DC for hold music, at a fairly loud volume, can't be all bad. Made me wih it was in stereo!!! lol

 

Reminded me of the time I had to call some business about a delivery or something and I was put on hold and when the person answered the phone I informed them that I enjoyed the music. She did offer to put me back on hold.

Right now sitting at home enjoying (hating) the 14 inches of snow that we got. Hate being stuck in the house all day when I am at home. I did get to go down to the store for wife today but now my pickup is stuck in the driveway as it will not make it up the steep hill that I live on. I want springtime to come around.

 

That feeling you get, when your just peacefully walking along and then, the next thing you know, your flat on your back, looking at the sky and getting snowed on......... can ya'll say ouch?

 

OUCH! And again OUCH!

(Not enough letters in the first ouch to post.. LOL)

 

Went to several parties in my earlier drinking days and ended up like that more than once. Can't say that I miss them because I sure don't.

 

Just so ya'll know, since I was already in the right position, I did make a snow angel!!!!! lol

 

My phone started ringing this morning at 0545...Don't agents know that Dispatchers have to sleep Don't call me at that hr with a cheap load.

 

I bought some Yaktrax in Fairbanks since I got tired of doing that and than to pretend I had planned on doing that.

 

What is it about that stretch of I 80, between Council Bluffs and Des Moines, that eats trucks? Saw 6 or 7 of them in the ditch, along with a bus. (Megabus) There were also a few cars.

And how come, with as bad a rep as they have, and as bad as we make fun of them, they're usually NOT the mega carrier training companies? Did see a covenant getting towed off, since he had blocked the west bound lanes, and think I saw a Werner, but that was it. Do the "old timers" forget or think they know it all?
