LOL! This is about the first time I ever "Thanked" anybody. The industry is going to eat this kid alive.
I DO have to say though, that I don't have a rats hair of a problem with the OP "wasting recruiters time"---those pricks waste our time EVERY time. They sit at a comfortable desk for 8 hours a day, and make good money to lie to people, then go home every night and pretend that they got the world by the balls. Screw um!
What companies have ONLINE applications for pre-hire letters?

Its not just 5 min of their time. They are spending money on MVR and PIP reports. It takes a lot longer then 5 min to pull all that data and analyze it. They also have to call all your past employers for verification. What your doing is dishonest. Find a company your actually interested in and get a prehire there. Not to mention, I paid for my CDL school myself, why should my tax dollars pay for yours?

Amen, Driver5!!!

You make it sound like the recruiters are working for the drivers. They could care less about the specific needs or wants by a driver since their pay comes from the companies they bring these new drivers to. As a general rule you should never trust a recruiter with your livelihood. Sure they may help but never put all your eggs in their basket.
To Driver5, you might get better responses if you didn't start yelling at us right from the start. This site has been around for some time now and there's a lot of good information here if you just relax and take what you need. If you can not find what you need then there's plenty more sites that might help. Just know that you are the first one I've seen that needs these pre-hire letters for a loan. However, some companies are the ones that issue those and they'd be the ones to contact if you do not want to do a simple search and find some drivers that have gotten these useless pre-hire letters.HauntedSchizo19 Thanks this. -
Bless you, GasHauler, for your sense and sensability (sp).

Amen.LOL I appreciate your thoughts, but it's clear reading comprehension may not be your strong suit because I didn't "start yelling at" you or anyone else... I think you may need to re-read the thread.
I explained WHY I wanted pre-hire letters in the first post.... then after being asked again why I wanted pre-hires, I explained it again.... then after another person asked I told them the truth: I literally don't know how to explain it any differently than I already had in multiple posts... to which he started raging, whining, and name-calling like an angry 12-year old....
So please tell me again who started "yelling" at who?
BTW, for every rude douchebag like him, there were 3 people either helping me in this thread or PM-ing me information, some of which helped me get the half-dozen pre-hires I got within a week. Turns out arrogant keyboard warriors like that user are a rarity on this site and the majority of members were (and continue to be) very helpful.Jdogg79 Thanks this. -
I am currently looking to go to school and in need of companies that have online applications for pre hire
-
One big flaw in this wia grant system is the idea of a prehire letter, it means nothing and has no bearing on the students ability to get hired, one reason why the program needs to stop.

can you mention those companies I'm the same situation
-
Wondering if you could help me I'm in the same situation you were in.please
