I'd rather buy a toyota than a chevy these days. That toyota is built in Mississippi etc. and that chevy is most likely built in mexico. They say "well the money goes back to Japan even if it's built in MS" I say who cares, like we see any benifit from the money sent to GM headquarters, I'm at least supporting the working man in america

Just found this at some blog site...

"In this era of globalization, things are not always what they seem.
An observant employee at a General Motors Corp. dealership sent Consumer Reports magazine a copy of the "Pre-Delivery Inspection Form" for the new 2008 Chevrolet Impala that contained these instructions for the dealership: "Remove 'Made in China' sticker from all key fobs." Presumably this is done before wrapping the car in red, white and blue bunting."

Now I"m really afraid. No one is supporting American car makers anymore.

I'm gonna buy me a Dodge Ram w/Cummins.

Not to depress you further my brother,BUT, that Dodge your wanting is like shoving a diamond in a horse turd. The Dodge truck of course being the horse turd in this fable and the Cummins being your diamond...Been there, done that more than once (because I'm stupid, a slow learner and I have A.D.D....Ouch... why didn't you say that was hot...Ouch..why didn't you say that was hot:biggrin_2556:)....Buy you a used Cummins,Hang a Faas pump on it,BIG injectors, a Compound phat shaft turbo set up and drop it in an older Ford or Chevy 4x4 crew cab dually. It would be THOUSANDS cheaper than a new Dodge and you would have something that would run cool, shift, stop and start, the electrical system(a/c,defroster,radio,tailights etc etc) would work and it wouldn't waller from one side of the road to the other like a drunken sailor on leave.Another advantage is you could go hunting Mustang GTs with a hickory switch when you got bored of dragging D9 Cats backwards.:biggrin_25523:Lets hear ya Dodge fellas....bring it on...lol
