Cool, wonder what sleeper size they went with on the 680?

I saw one on Tulsa that they hadn't assigned yet. It's full size. They intend to give them to trainers and some of the (few) husband/wife teams rolling around out there. Even has the fridge installed in it. It's the same kind Stephens uses.

are the Volvo's being assigned to trainers too? I saw a couple of pictures of Melton's last fling with Volvo, guess they're trying them again, wonder if they have the I Shift?

I did not look in the Volvo at the yard but it is mandatory for trainers to have manual transmission at Melton.

It's pretty cool that they are adding different model trucks to the fleet, especially if the sleeper's are larger!

Im sure the models with the larger sleepers are trainer only trucks!

Does anybody know why Melton went with the 660 over a full size truck?

As far as I know the 660 is a "full size truck". Ours are midroof 660's but after all, we are flatbed only. Personaly, I think highrise trucks pulling flatbed look pretty darned goofy!

    jomar68 Thanks this.
