They will take you but you will go out with a trainer utill he releases you. I don't know if there is a minimum time or not. Originally they were saying I had to do that because my last job of 7 years returned the paperwork and said I was a local driver. They want 6 mo otr exp in the last 3 years to not go out with a trainer

Got the call from Mav recruiting yesterday evening, asking if I'd like to come out for orientation this Sunday, the 23. Told her a definite Yes.

They called last Thursday AM, had 3 cancellations for the 9th, but that was just a bit too short notice, since my bus would leave out on Friday for Sat arrival. So I was worried that that my put me back to waiting another 2 - 3 weeks.

So I'm 95% packed and good to go!

They will tell you when they call you in. Basically the normal stuff. Clothes, bedding, closed toe shoes, license ss card, birth dates and ss numbers for any going on your insurance, cb etc. I think the only strange thing I remember wa they said to bring a 25 foot tape measure.

On a COMPLETELY different topic, what is the biggest tv that will fit into a Maverick truck? Is there a cut out for a tv to go in there? CRT or an LCD? Are they any regular (110v) outlets in the sleeper or are they all 12v? What kind of fridge fits in a Maverick truck? Does Maverick allow ANY holes drilled or modification of their trucks? Alot of questions, but im just trying to get my ducks in a row before I decide on a compnay to go with. I'm also considering TMC and im asking them the same questions.

ALSO, can a 6 foot person stand up in the sleeper? Are the sleepers double or single bunk?

    Thanks.
