This might be a dumb question, but since I'm still mostly a newbie, I'm gonna ask it anyway...

On Schneider's company driver equipment page, they describe the truck's transmission as follows:
"Eaton 10-speed transmission; many with automatic option." My question is, what is a 10-speed with automatic option? Is that the same as saying the truck has an automatic transmission, or is it something else entirely?

Yeah, they mean the truck has an auto. Not sure why they worded it like that, its either got an auto or it doesn't.

Mine will do this from time to time if the QC is off/sleeping/whatever it does when the screen goes black, when I book a load off of the load board. I just call in and ask them to resend my preassignments to me, make sure I have the ignition on so the QC has booted up, and they show up in a few minutes.

That's why I love the feature of having the assignment at my finger tips.

I bobtailed from San Antonio to the Laredo OC to pick up a load and deliver it literally right across the street from the OC. Seriously, I went almost to the end of the street and arrived. My next load doesn't pick up until tomorrow morning.

Finally..... Been in Northeast for the last two months, and just picked up a load to AL from ME... ~1300 miles. It'll be nice to leave the windows open for a night or two! ;)
