The recruiters may help but most places I've been to don't use them. Just remember that a good company has no need to advertise. Find out what you have to do to work there from the phone number to that company. They will tell how to go about it. Have you looked around your area for flatbeds? The computer is a great tool but not the only one. Get out and search if you can. Talk to some drivers you see, maybe at a truck stop. When you get the same story from a couple of drivers then you can rely on that. Be sure to check all that can help you.
