today's check in is at Waynesworld NC. #### this is a cool mountain area. i40 east of 81 was awesome this morning.

 

I hope I'm not in the wrong forum for asking this, but the last few posts touched on a FM and recruiting so: Do drivers at Roehl - or any other company - ever have the opportunity to become a dispatcher or recruiter?

 

You'd have to apply and what not, but when I was there they had a handful of former drivers working in the office as dispatchers, planners, recruiters, and what not. Not sure if they still have those hiring practices.

 

It can be done. I may be interested in such a position in the future also and was told if/when I'm ready to give them a call. Give it a year or so and learn the driving aspect of the job first and go from there. These positions open frequently.

 

How often does Roehl allow you to get your truck washed?

if its slow at the fuel island at the truck stop..u can wash yur truck with the squeegee.

I'm in carry ville tn tonight, looking at the as seen on TV factory outlet store.

 

Well if there is one clean car in Columbus it won't stay that
way longer than an hour lol.

 

You can wash it as much as you want for free at a terminal, or pay for it yourself at blue beacon or other.

 

It is a nasty icy mess in Columbus Oh tonight. Heavy sleet and freezing rain. It looks like a Texas hail storm out there.
