Thanks I am finding his experience quite helpful. I have a question I have my class B with Air brake and the General Knowledge I took the test in Oregon do I have to take them again or do you know, if anyone can answer that would be great.

 

Just plan on it either way. The one to look out for in Colorado is the combo test c it's poorly worded. Likely written by someone who's never been behind the wheel.

 

Truck broke down in my hometown (swear to gawd) so I gots a little home time. Woot woot. Who knew replacing an injector took so long.

 

Does your CPAP machine have a memory card? If not you will have to have one that does. You dont need to print any reports, but you will have to have your CPAP with you and bring the memory card in for them to look at the data on it. It has to be able to store up to 90 days of data. You are required to be 80% compliant with using it at all times.

 

Yes it does have the card thanks for the tip, I use it every night cant seem to sleep with out it anymore.

 

Cool. Yea, Im the same way. I can go one night without it but any more than that and I can feel it.

 

Ahh the joys of brand new truck. Steering pump starts to freeze during backing manuvers and an impatient driver rake my front end Saturday night while i was getting back into the truck from getting out to look. Brakes set and even had a independent witness. So......sitting in a hotel in Ontario CA enjoying the beautiful weather and a nice hotel. Courtesy of Mr. Impatience lol. Layover pay yeah that too. Nice part is all under warranty or insurance. Its been a great three weeks, I have not noticed any slow down in the freight and miles and for the most part life is good and I am a happy camper. Have to go to the mother ship at the end of the month so hoping I get out of here wednesday or thursday so that I can get at least one more good week in before the tractor beam latches on and pulls me into the black hole lol. See a lot of fresh faces in here, which is great to see and I look forward to hearing of your experiences.

Yeah its real hard to contemplate snow when its sunny and warm. Sitting in Birmingham waiting for Thermo King to fix up this broken dog of a trailer, checking out the weather along our route and dang! Oregon is forecast with highs in the 50s all week! Its sure gonna suck when winter comes back.

I thought brawley was closed/ I stopped at the truck stop there on 111 yesterday and they are closing it up everything in store is 50 percent off including tobbacco Drove through down town brawley and its lookin pretty bad counted 6 businesses burned out on 6 different blocks... National Beef closed the plant supposedly last week. Dunno
