I'm in Odessa Texas doing a drop and hook at the Sam's Club. Taking a load of chep pallets to Fort Worth.
So far this is going OK. First paycheck is Thursday. Then I will know for sure.
But the sun is out and there is no snow on the ground and that is always a plus in my opinion.

Yeah Bumper, I was in Ecuador for 2 weeks and experienced a protest first hand in a 3rd world country, not to mention. I myself a well seasoned traveler took for granted simple things we have such as Flushable toilets, drinking water, internet and the white lines on a road actually mean something and including turn signals and brake lights. I had a great time, but there are somethings i seen that just amazed me.

I have never been more frustrated with an outfit in my life. Got to Conagra for a drop and hook and they told me they asked FRE for a trailer yesterday. I get here tonight and now have to wait for them to load the one I brought.
They are going to lose Conagra. Junk trailers and not keeping up with what's going on. I guess its something else to blame on drivers. This place is a joke. I had big hopes for FRE and it was my plan to stay til I could retire but I decided this was my last trip and I gave my notice.
18 months busting my tail for them hurt twice yanking handles on those worn out extra lease trailers and they could care less. I can't believe anything they tell me anymore but they durn sure stressed honesty at audit. That's been a one sided deal there.
I sent an email to management on the FEB 7th asking for DM change and didn't hear a word back. I have dealt with every change here and I was ready for more stability. It was a fair request. I've done everything FRE ever asked me to do. This joke is over for me.Daniel.trawick and Bumper Thank this. -
Good luck to you Gary. I have to admit it is really nice not having to deal with trailer issues anymore.
Dinomite, Daniel.trawick and holycow Thank this. -
It took me and another driver an hour to slide my axles to get weight distributed. Its just ridiculous.Daniel.trawick and holycow Thank this.

Gary I do wish you the best. We had a great group of drivers at FRE. Now I can only hope Barney closes the doors on the place. They keep saying the drivers is ruining the face of furniture row. I have to say it is everyone in that Denver office that has done that. We have said for almost 2 years now that the trl's are a big issue that needs to be fixed. But as you know we just complain about anything in the eyes of that Denver office. I hope you find a better home. I know I did and they prove that to me at every corner. When I have a problem they are willing to talk. Yes talk not scream or blow you off. Got a issue with the equipment. They get it fixed. They will even fix things that could wait just so it doesn't have to be messed with later. I am still looking for work closer to home but until then I feel very welcome at Long Haul.

I predicted the loss of Conagra months ago...I've pulled Conagra for years I know what they require for equipment

You gotta laugh...to many jobs out here to stay and deal with the circus. I had big hopes and all we got was talk. Guaranteed weekly pay, oops not! New trailers better freight in January lol...nope! They even started taking money out of our pocket. Breakdown pay was lowered to the layover rate. Constant DM changes then just when they get it right oops let's shake it up again. I done everything ever asked of me there and it means nothing. I simply asked for a DM change to separate myself from adversity and I didn't even get a response.
Barney would be wise to shut it down and save face in my humble opinion. -
Screwed me over when I quit.
With over 1 week noticed claimed there were no loads going back to Denver.
I already had something else lined up..so had to be there to return the truck. -
I rescued a load in Chicago and was in the hood for 4 days and they paid me 2 days layover.i said I wasnt layed over and I was asked by the want to be if I owned furniture row.but I must say they did do me right about my pay when I left.a friend of mine dropped his truck off in aurura and they took 400.00 out of his check for abandonment is what he told me.he called m*** and was hung up on...he said looks like he is going to have to sue bar***.what a joke that place has become with these novices for managers.they need to close the doors in aurora and let new Albany manage the trucking side...just my opinion
