Yikes! Knight Transportation!

    I worked for Knight for 1 1/2 years and could no longer, in good conscience work for a liar and thief the likes of Ren Knight. The owner, Kevin Knights son for those of you who didnt know. He, Ren gave his typical BS talk in Orientation aboutKnight being a people company and not a trucking company, drivers come first, blah blah blah. All lies. One more than one occasion I did runs for him with the promise of extra $$ and of course I saw nothing even after weeks of reminding him that he owed me. There are a couple good guys in the Denver terminal but Ren isn't one of them. My last day was 02/13/14, my payroll wasn't submitted. I got paid just not on payday. A nice little last day jab. My real problem was the workers comp claim I filed that went ignored. I have since talkedto the state labor board and they were very helpful. I guess im just venting, thanks for listening. :) I start with a local company with a very good reputation tomorrow

    You're lucky! I slept with Kevin Knight; don't think he really cared for a "pushback", though, and afterwards, I was walking bowlegged for two weeks. And to add insult to injury, he even reported my "backing" accident on my DAC.

    i think knight had a situation like that with the security at one of the yards, they fired or let one of the gaurds go...
