We just had a driver come to our dedicated fleet after being on the Midwest regional for the last year. I asked him why he left the regional side and he told me after a year on Midwest regional he was barley getting 1500 miles a week. He came over to us after he "Fired" his DM.

Oh well I'm in flagstaff AZ I have a live unload late tmmr in Phoenix and a pre plan going to kingman for friday morning. So it looks like I will be starting late tmmr. Also a second after that going to calf.
Hey DD we might meet in Rancho... -

Night shift for me for the next couple of days..... -
Good driving day! This calendar day QC says I've driven 518 miles. Then there are the mile I drove between 8:00 pm and midnight last night. Straight through, stopping only once, for a 30-minute DOT break. I am one whipped puppy, too, I can tell you!
I also discovered that my truck isn't listed with the New Mexico DOT for their bridge and weight permit (I think that's what it's called) so I paid $62.50 for a one-time permit to the nicest late-night scale officer ever--it was much easier to do that than try to get the overnight DM's to list it...if they even could.
The only disappointment, and it was a significant hurt, was not being able to connect with my son in C-Springs while I was in Pueblo. So close and yet so far, but it just couldn't happen. And it might never happen again.
Now, take my break. This afternoon, I will push very hard to make Rancho for my 0930 appointment tomorrow. The miles and time on my recap are going to make this a very tight trip, so I'm hoping for light-to-no LA traffic tomorrow. I used to live in that area and know it can either be horrid or good. I'm hoping for good; it's far enough north and late enough in the morning... -
My guess is our heirs will be talking about their impact on music 50 years from now, 100 years after they arrived. And my guess is it will never happen again.
