    Hey Guys and Gals,

    Chris here.

This is my first thread. I have read many many threads over the past few months. From your posts I was encouraged to become a PTD and begin my career in the West Texas Oil Field. I just passed my CDL drive test today. I graduate from a truck driving school on Friday. Moving to Midland on Monday. Lord willing of course.

Now, with all that said I am wondering about a simple topic that I have yet to read much about.

    <<<Washin your Rig>>>

I assume everyone has a particular way of 'Gettin er Dun' and I want to hear about it....So be be sure to ring in on your method.

Feel free to add the follow info...

    1. Where? (your house, truck wash, truck stop, the lake/river ect.)
    2. When and/or how often?
    3. How/method? (by hand, pressure washer ect.)
    4. With what? (just plain ol water, your fav detergents, degreasers, acids, chemicals ect.)
    5. Who pays? (O/O or the company)
*Does the company outsource, pay you, or employ detailers/washers at the yard?

Come on now yall, let me know whats up.

Just before a show and or event. The company has its own wash bay, so pressure washer with soap injection and brushed by hand. Like having her ready. Companys May or may not pay to have a truck wash done by a chain. Not half bad looking?

We get 2 washes a month from Blue Beacon. They normally do a half as=hearted job but the tankers look a lot better. Couple of great washes in DFW that I wish they would sign off on. Real good one in Joshua just South of town.

Really depends on location . Blue Beacon is a chain as is say Longhorn . Been to great locations and very bad locations! But it is true , most family owned single location (in any field) do better service. Got to clean her back up . Got a Road Team event down in Wilmington NC .

On the road have an account at BLUE BEACON , also complete wash bay setup at the shop , drivers can do it themselves and get paid to do it or yard worker does it over the weekend for them

I run mine thru the truck o mat once a week. If weather is nice I hand wash it again when I get home. I need to have the tanks and wheels cut to get it back right.
