Headed home. Just finished up a frac and was told we have around 17 million pounds to haul in the next month and a half so it doesn't look like I'll be unhitching this pneumatic anytime soon.

Ran heavy snow on US-30 thru Soda Springs, ID to Opal, WY, then hit it again in Wamsutter to Laramie.. 10.75 hrs for 557 miles, enough for today... and watched a Yeller/Roadway wad up a set and then an England just had to go try to cut down the sagebrush in the median.... as well as several 4 wheelers cutting cookies in the road/median,/shoulders...
Petro @ Laramie for the night... in the dirt lotcatalinaflyer and jomar68 Thank this. -
On another note I have had 5 different drivers call me wanting to know if they can have my truck. I don't know how many calls Greg, Lee and Mike have gotten about it as well but I told them to get in line, crap in one hand and wait for my truck in the other and see which one gets full quicker. I swear saddlesore we work with a bunch of vultures. I guess at another terminal (RV) they have been dividing up my OD gear which BTW is my personal gear that I own.
I'm keeping my truck and all my gear because just Wednesday I got called out at 5:30 in the morning for an emergency OD move for P&W. I guess they don't understand that, Rex kept his truck, Tracy kept his old T-8 (but did give finally give it to us up here as long as we promised to never let it go to WA) and by all that is holy I'm keeping mine!! -
Well we made Laramie Fri. night. Dog tired fighting the wind. Got a whooping 3 miles to the gallon. Left out this morning and the wind was not bad, but snowing in some areas. Stopped in Rock Springs for food to go for my wife. Hauland not at the lunch counter and Not much time, So I did not call you.
Then the fun rte. Seeing how Az. has weight restrictions on I15 and the frost law is on in Nv. We get the honors of running 6/50 to Ely and down that way to Vegas.
Sitting here in Delta,Ut for the night. Sunday will be another long day to Vegas..
Had one of our other guys come down Sherman this morning and he said he spun out going up and darn near had it sideways coming down.
Everyone be safe out there. -
That's OK I was busy with my son's 3rd birthday party most of the day anyway.
-
Cool beans, Tell him late Happy Birthday from us.. Hope you got him some neat toys and a big messy cake. lol
-
Enjoy the birthday they fly bye quickly.
After being up in the snow/ice and 60+ mph winds. I'm. Finally in warmer weather if you call valley smog warm.
I'm thinking now Santa nella almost was a thought until the truck decided it needed repairs. The two lines behind the turbos puked antifreeze all over 58w out of tehachapi, going down into weedpatch by Bakersfield.
Hope everyone's safe and warm. Summer will hopefully be here soon. On a side note
I heard some drivers put a hit on the punxsutawney phil ground hog. -
truckon, milskired and peterbilt_2005 Thank this.
