    Don't have map handy But the 2 lane outta Geismer angles straight up to I12 just west of 55 so that is an option cuz anyway you go at 8am is a crap shoot--I've used the backroad w/good luck before--& pull a refer--but washed at qwala there many times--just up street from Trimac--back there in tank hell as we lovingly call it lol

    I looked at that. Looks like a bunch of small towns. Maybe I will run the mileage on it.

    Option 4 I-10W to I-55S to HWY22W to I-10W ......188 miles but a lot of towns.

    What are the speed limits through there? I will be going in empty so stop and go is not as big of a deal as loaded. I may give this one a try. Its only 48 miles of 2 lane.

    Mostly one blink towns--like I said am a crap shoot no matter how u go--I'd prefer 10 all the way but it can back up real early West of the airport as 310 slits off and the ponch causeways is 2 lanes catches folks by surprise cuz its leaving town.....good luck
