We had that problem with our Freightliner... Fuel cooler, injector cups... Had to change out all rubber coolant hoses, that fuel you're circulating through eats them alive!! Company truck... Run it, you're not paying for it... Your truck, get it to the nearest repair facility! If there is fuel in your coolant, there will be coolant in your fuel!
PS ... Detroit got involved with ours, and authorized (under warrantee) for all the hoses to be changed... Don't forget the one that runs to the sleeper too!! THAT was a mess!!

While you are correct that fuel will degrade rubber coolant houses. For what it would cost just to replace injector cups at a dealer or other repair shop, I can buy a brand new head, head gasket kit, and every single rubber house on the truck for thousands less.
-
Most likely... However we didn't have the shop, time, money to do that in (truck was new enough to still have a warrantee)... Not sure if the OP does either... Just relaying our experience; even if it was a Freightliner.

Well I bet it WILL cost an arm & a leg out here plus the time it'll take (more than likely it'll be a few days before any dealer can get to it) and honestly I've had about enough with this truck! I love it but I can't do much to it! I'm gonna try & sell it or trade it in! Get me something with a Cat, Detroit or Cummings
baha Thanks this. -
Take it to a mechanic if you are not sure.

I know how you feel!!!! After having my Volvo for 28 months and putting 34k into it with various issues, I finally went back to freightliner about 8 months ago........I had a 07 780 w/a d12........never buying Volvo again! Hope you get issues resolved..

I had a freightliner with a cat that did the same thing. You probably could get it home but mine kept blowing hoses because it was over filling the coolant system. The o rings went bad on the injectors, at least that's what cat said it was.
