Also for your info Cal-Trans uses vehicles like these:

and here is your typical Cal-Trans engineer..notice the PPG?

The "engineers" I saw wore street clothes and had van similar to this one parked under the overpass with not even the 4-ways. [IMG]

    1) The "war on terror" is hyped up BS; some of our citizens are a little slower to catch on to this than others. Think about it; hasn't most of this national terror been whipped up by the government?
    2) Although these people could have been engineers, it's far more likely that they were tourists admiring our magnificent freeway interchanges (I can say "our" since I keep a part time address in Fresno and pay taxes in Cal.)
    3) With all the targets to hit in Southern California, why would they want to blow up a typical four decker? One that CalTrans could rebuild in about four months?
    4) What do tourists taking pictures of scenery have to do with a "sweaty, nervous Middle Eastern guy" in an aircraft?
    5) You should NEVER dial 911 for anything but an EMERGENCY. I realize that hysteria may have clouded your thinking in this instance, but you should never let hysteria override logic and common sense- as a professional you should know this.
    6) How would you have reacted if these people had been Caucasian or perhaps Japanese? I believe that you wish racism was politically correct.

    I think we're done here...

yes, I'm sure NORAD let 4 known hijacked aircraft roam around eastern seaboard for upwards of 100 minutes without being intercepted

    because of political correctness.

Mostly "suspicious" packages and hoaxes. Big deal.
Hell, we blew up mailboxes with cherry bombs when we were kids 35 years ago. Was that terrorism? DON'T BE HYSTERICAL.

And a bomb threat isn't a form of terrorism?
What about 66lbs of uranium in the wrong hands ?
How about the weapons seized at the Mexican border?
Just a few examples of things that go on that most ppl don't know about daily.

Like that time I was calling in a VERY drunk driver that was using ALL 5 lanes of I-75 just south of Detroit (Monore)?
    The "9-1-1" Operator told me: "I don't give a S***!".
He had better things to do, alright, perhaps he needed to touch up his nail-polish.

    Before anyone says: "I-75 isn't 5 lanes...",
I KNOW that, but the drunk didn't, he was using all lanes plus both shoulders.

If you did that today, you could probably be charged with terrorism........

That doesn't surprise me either. I called in once on the Indiana toll road and after the call realized they didn't care as long as the drunk didn't hit anyone.
