Well, hope everyone is doing well. been a while since I have been on here and thought I would check in. I have to say, I have been running my butt off, so if there are drivers that aren't getting any miles they must be doing something wrong. I will say I am so sick of snow and ice, been lucky the past two weeks I have been running south and enjoying the warmth. I had a load out to LA and even dealt with snow in the desert. On another note, I have decided that I am going to give up driving all together. I used to never worry about the truck drivers and always worry about the four wheelers. But anymore it is the truck drivers that have been scaring the crap out of me. I don't know what they are teaching drivers these days but it sure isn't how to keep it in there own lane or to control their speed in a parking lot.

 

It happens. I've done it twice, neither of them intentional and both of them only a few minutes. A violation is a violation, but one can only hope that there are those evaluating the facts that will consider the facts, not just the violation.

Northeast fans...hope you enjoyed the Spring-like 50s today as it's all downhill from here (NE temps were the 2nd warmest in 17 years today)! The next 7-days trend the coldest in 11 years for the Northeast but even colder in the Midwest where it's the coldest in 25+ years! California remains warmest in 12 years to end February. There are a couple minor snow events (early Monday am, maybe Wednesday) that will bring light 1-4" amounts to the Ohio Valley and Northeast - one model of course wants to go bigger midweek - TBD on that.

Early March is much more interesting snow wise! Temperatures for the first week of March trend the coldest in 18 years for the Midwest, coldest in 11 years for the South Central U.S. and coldest in 7 years in the Northeast. Yes we know California you'll trend the warmest in 20 years! Models have been pretty consistent for at least two bigger Northeast snow storms but timing is a little uncertain - 1st or 3rd/4th and or 6th/7th. Winter isn't over!

 

All is getting better health wise. Being off the road sucks. My plan is to stay around home for awhile and help my dad, and then Im probably going to get another driving job, but it wont be with Trans Am. Thanks for asking.
