Its that time of year. Best time to get on with a tanker company is in the spring when they start getting more loads than they can haul.

thanks a lot Chinatown imma start my application process with these companies tomorrow first im giving my recruiter from Schneider up until 9:45a.m to contact me if she dont im going to the one stop filling out applications for these companies you and others refer me too. question how do you think a lot of these companies handle passenger policy after about 8+ months to a year by myself doing OTR I would want to bring a friend or my lady with me if they allow it I hope they not strict on passenger policy by not allowing none at all
-
Are you in nj? Schneider in keasby hires for tank out of school . Got interviewed and got the job last year
-
wow that actually happens that they get more loads then they can handle. is that why I be hearing about them doing forced dispatch at times
-
yes exactly cas but my recruiter told me I would have to go to the Pittsburgh pa area for training in that facility
-
Most chemical tanker companies will not let you have riders or pets. They can not come with you inside plants for security reasons.
-
oohh thanks ws this is the reason why I believe is because when accessing the ports etc that requires TWIC they only allow the driver of that TWIC card and from what I read on TSA policies you can't bring passengers to those areas or leave them outside of the restriction area and have them waiting for you. I hear drivers can get real time fines for that and said WOW.

Chinatown i contacted SVTN but they only have terminals in Alabama & texas I would have to relocate to one of those areas and I ask her do the company have a relocation allowance they give to drivers she said no so I told her thanks anyway. even though I wasn't planning on relocating. ugh I see now I gotta find terminals within my area.

You're welcome. Sorry, but I am still learning about this industry myself. So, I don't have any recommendations.
