At the Fontana yard....again. Second Sunday in a row for a Monday morning delivery....again. Last week was 5 miles away, tomorrow is 60 miles away in Carson. Here's hoping I have a load BEFORE I'm MT as places to park near Carson are few and far between.
-
Albuquerque NM for the night. Load delivers in Flagstaff tomorrow.

yeah carson sucks, they dont allow trucks to park on the streets in the city limits unless otherwise posted and good luck finding a spot between those signs....
delivered my Palmdale load and ended up with a Yussen but the traffic was actually not too bad for a Sunday on the 405, I might of hit it at the right times. Tomorrow headed up to Tracy, CA and have not done that store in 3 months since I started, only thing I hated about that store was that the docks are right on a main road and you have to fight nonstop traffic switching out the trailers, last time the trainer had to block traffic just so I could get in and out, this time I dont have that luxury though. I could go late but I prefer to just get it done earlier if the trailer is ready early. At least during the daytime I can see the docks better and I normally can drop a trailer much faster during the day. -
Got back to the Wally World DC in harrisonville, Missouri yesterday. These guys keep me running almost every day.

Back in the sleeper berth after three full days home time. Felt great. I spent Thursday hanging at ML to get a B service done, then took the truck for home time. Came back early on Sunday to take care of a leaking drive tire, turned out to be a nail in the sidewall so they replaced the tire.
We just hooked up to a full trailer and we're headed for Virginia. The QC fuel route inexplicably has us routed on I-70 from LA. It's shorter and faster across I-40 and that's the way we're headed. We'll reopt our fuel plan somewhere in Arizona or New Mexico.
We're already planned to pick up a load in North Carolina and take it to Phoenix, so the TJ Maxx is in full swing. -
Home Sweet Home for at least 3 days. What a headwind from TN up to OH today.
inkeper Thanks this. -
picked up the load at cotts in san bernardino. stopped on mira loma for fuel, window cleaner, and coolant. dummy me filled up without thinking(normal lol) scaled the load and was 80600 and 34200 on drives. thought hard and decided to run with it. i know how to bypass the castaic scales. so delivered it herwe in porterville dc withpout a hitch. they said to report back thursday at 1000. thought about getting a motel room. see whats available at laval road. have to scan these trip sheets.
