well that the goofiest sliding winch track I have seen, it does look like a add on. mine on my untility is much sturdier than that , the would have to be a failure of major sorts for mine to do that, its much more thicker and sturdier than that one. you still got warranty on that joker?

In trucking you need to learn that just because a customer "wants it" is not a valid excuse for breaking laws or miss using equipment.Criminey Jade, IH Truck Guy and 281ric Thank this. -
I'll do everything in my power to please a customer but I will never EVER jeopardize my safety, the safety of others on the road or the safety of my equipment because some person in an office with a title of Shipper thinks they know better than the professional they have hired to haul their product.
With all of that being said however I wasn't suggesting you use chains but there are options far better that wrenching a winch out of it's track for securement.

Those are great to have I love them, I have them the same way 30,40 and 50s and the gtreat thing as well if you bust the strap the chain is still good for short chains!
