2/20-2/24
I had an uneventful trip to Plaquemine via trimac tankwash in Geismar. It adds an extra day to this dedicated load. After washing out and loading I had about 2 hours left on my 14. It was around 4:45PM Friday and I was hearing about a wreck in the middle lane on I-10 on the downside of the Miss river bridge in Baton Rouge. Since I wouldn't get far enough to make it home Saturday I camped out at the little casino truck stop next to WalMart on US 1 just south of the bridge and headed out in the morning. I got home Sunday around noon and was off today.
I will be in a holding pattern Tuesday for a Holland Mi paint load. Spring can't get here soon enough. -
You can say that again. With the exception of one load to Jacksonville, FL, I have been running up north since Thanksgiving. I'm currently in MN on my way to Calgary. Tonight's low, -11.

Last week wasn't bad for me. I spent it along I-10. Before that it was Michigan with an occasional Southern run mixed in. Only problem with the southern runs is I hit both ice storms. I have sat more running through Atlanta this year than Chicago or Michigan.

It has been pretty unusual this year. It is the first time I ever remember getting 2 winter weather events at home. Plus we had the earthquake. I'm surprised there weren't mass suicides.

My Holland load got canceled so I wound up with Tuesday at home as well. I got a N Chicago dry bulk for Wed, Thurs and Friday. Got home Friday afternoon.
Got another Holland for Monday. This one is loaded and waiting for me on the yard. Loving the home time. -
Sitting on the side of I 64 waiting on wrecker between Charleston and Beckley. I am not getting back in this truck. It's a very bad spot to break down but at least there is a truck lane.
They have already run over my triangles -

At least it's a nice day to be outside -
I feel your pain! I'm so done with my crapforce prostar. It's just problem after problem. Since it turned 250,000 miles and the service at the dealer in north Vegas is pathetic! Trying to milk it to May when I get a new Volvo.
