The only complaints I ever heard of with teaming in a studio sleeper is that the sofa bed isn't very comfortable. I would think one of those memory foam mattress pads would fix that. You can get them anywhere. That's what we used at FedEx National when we ran those Volvo sleepers. Made a world of difference in the comfort level.

We have guys in Australia running across the country in road trains pulled by tiny Volvo cab overs . Simon National Carriers. If you don't like it do what I do - just don't do it. The big carriers couldn't care less about driver comfort.
pattyj Thanks this. -
A lot of our drivers won't sleep on the Volvo dinette table lower bunk in our trucks and sleep on the mattress on the top bunk but I love the bottom bunk. I prefer stiff mattresses.

Thx for the info guys.... sounds like it should be a GO.... looking forward

You probably won't have room for a billiard table in that studio sleeper though.
Cetane+ Thanks this. -
I stayed in a hotel room in Germany that was smaller than a Studio Sleeper.

I ran in a T660 solo for a few weeks in December. Took me a month for the scabs to heal on my head and shins from getting in and out of the truck and trying to access the sleeper from the work area. I'm not a big fan of having tiny doors with low clearance or a narrow front cab with headbangers above you. I'd imagine trying to team in it will represent a challenge for trying to negotiate the narrow cab area.
The mattress on the bunk was uncomfortable. A mattress topper is a must. -
why even run team? with the 1 year that you listed as experience you don't have to.
