Maybe check back with the school you graduated from to see if you can get a 40hr refresher? Might not charge sense you went thru them already.

If I remember correctly you need to be 22 years old for Western Express. If I was of age I probably would of already went with them because they do have that free refresher course. The only other company I can think of that offers a refresher of some sort is CR England, but I've honestly never seen anything good about them.

LOL That's some funny #### there if you think 500 dollars is a lot of money for someone to start a new career. I'm not sure how old you are but I'm betting you don't have much life experiences yet.

The people working for Millis are not rich by no means. They just did there homework and found the best company out there for new drivers and found a way to get enough money together to make it all happen.

Already checked, the school I went to doesn't offer any kind of refresher courses.

Paschall Truck Lines might hire you. They have refresher and pretty easy to get on with. Trucks have APU's.

I agree! I am a "working man" and I went to my local community college for CDL training. I paid $1,000 out of pocket to attend.

If you can't afford $500 up front then how exactly do you expect to live for the 3 weeks you are in school and the week or more before your first check after hire?

The training Millis provides is pretty great for a company school. You get what you pay for.

That is funny....I had just lost my ### in a failed business, had my truck repossed, and was unemployed...but I sold a pistol and paid the upfront costs and went thru class....it wasn't pleasant but I ate a lot of sandwiches and stuff and didn't blow money in truck stops .... It's all about choices
