In the 70's there was a TV show called Kojak he was plain clothes cop and kodak was a picture taker.

Mainly I hear all the old lingo on base stations with some dude who loves to talk to truckers all day.

In the old day's u could count on getting directions over the cb. In some areas base operators were always there to give direction or get u around low bridges or just talk. In the 70's everybody had cb's. I think an agency called the FCC tried to police it. Any way it was a fun running down the road with a lot of truck's, the miles went by faster

International-stalk-cutter,hay baler,row binder,farmal. GMC -jimmy,detriot-yamaha because they were two cycle engines and made lots of noise. Portable parking lot was a car hauler,portable pipeline was a petroleum tanker,thermos bottle was a pressure vessel such a propane truck,wiggle wagon was double's,bull wagon,grain wagon and so on there was pretty much a slang for anything and everything.
