I just ordered a 4 inch memory foam mattress topper and mattress pad for my Twin XL mattress in my truck. I am just wondering if there is anything else I could get to make me more comfortable. Anyone got one of those massage chairs?

Buy a better mattress instead of adding to your old one.

That should do you fine. I've got a 2" topper on my standard-equipment mattress, and it has served me well for several years. Only thing is when the sleeper gets very cold during the day, it can be like laying on pavement the first few minutes til it warms up a bit. But it has made a world of difference.

Building your own mattress saves money. Research mattress construction you can get the same foam they use and build your own. Buy a zippered encasement so it all is in one bag to keep it from shifting.

My truck mattress is coils with 1.5" poly foam on each side. Very cheap. I can add some dunlop latex and then some talalay latex and maybe a thin layer of memory foam and buy a zippered wool/bamboo cover and have a premium mattress. I decided to build my own instead of buying new mattress.

I like the memory foam mattress topper that has the gel in it. It gives cool air circulation in the summer and warm air in the winter. As for the sleeper being cold or hot when you first get in it, I always turn on the heat or ac on before I stop for the night. At least with a KW if you leave the sleeper controls set where you want them and just turn them off from the dash you can just turn them back on from the dash for a while before you stop for the night and it will be just right.

You can get away with the topper until the crap stock matt goes south. Check a local mattress shop for a clearance tempur or similar xl twin from an adjustable bed. I have a NICE serta Icloud in my lower bunk now for a bout 50% of retail. The wife and I got one for the house and my rack in the Pete suddenly was not cutting it so I went back to the store.and asked.
