Yes that was as a company driver for Sharkey pulling reefers. I was getting 24% but I was new with the company. The max was 25%. The key to percentage runs is you want short runs so you can stack them up and do multiple loads in a day. I liked percentage pay.
Is My Math Correct or Am I Missing Something???

How did you know that the 24-25% was calculated on actual invoice amount?

Wow, toomanybikes has this crap figured out like the boss. I didn't even take half of this stuff into consideration when I tried to figure out how much free time I gave my employer. I guess it all comes down to opportunity, because even though the pay is low you still have the opportunity to work long hours and receive a decent check. It's easier to hop in the sleeper after a long day than it is to drive from one crappy job to the other. Plus I used to drink 2 to 3 cases of beer a week, now I'm lucky to drink a twelve pack in that same time period and I lost 15lbs. There are some bonuses; however, I almost doubled my cigarette consumption while on the road. Seems like for every up there's two downs. Keep on truckin brothers!

yep when im at home I only smoke a couple a day, hit the road and its easy to smoke a pack a night...
